The aluminium barrier bag completes the PE bag. This 100µm thick bag has “barrier” properties to humidity and oxygen, and prevents deleterious effects of storage condition. Subjected to a “stress test” (23°C, RH 25%) there is no loss of mass corresponding to the water vapor coming out of the barrier bag.

This principle of double bags is more practical to enter in the white area and for a decontamination as things progress.
